The Song of Love
Artwork by Roberto Sabatini
This photo is part of the 'Walls of Fame' series, where iconic artworks are reimagined through a contemporary perspective. Each meticulously crafted photo explores new visual narratives while honouring the essence of the original artwork.
This photo is my interpretation of Giorgio De Chirico's painting "The Song of Love". This particular photo was quite a challenge for me, as I had to personally craft all the elements on the stage, including the head of Apollo. I was so pleased with the final result that I decided to create more versions of this head. You can see and buy these heads in my store.
"The Song of Love" photo is printed on Canson Baryta 310 gsm paper, creating whiter whites and deeper blacks, while the silky smooth reflective coating enhances the detail and definition of the images.
The print includes a border, so if placed in a same-sized frame, no mounting is required. The border size is 22mm and if a larger border is preferred, I suggest considering placing the print in a bigger frame with the desired mounting size.
The print is part of a limited edition of 50 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Note: I am particularly attached to this picture as it is the first image I made with a technical camera, which allows for precise control over the focus.
