This photo collage is part of the ‘Temporal Echoes’ collection, where I focus on the motion blur effect achieved by moving the subject rather than the camera, creating the impression of a living entity. In this series titled “Playtime,” the subject is a vintage doll borrowed from my daughter’s collection—I had to ask her permission to use it!
The collage brings together four unique images from the “Playtime” series, each depicting the doll in motion while interacting with her ball. Vibrant colours and strong shadows accentuate the essence of movement, with each frame offering a slightly different perspective on the dynamic interplay of light and form. Achieving consistency in the motion blur effect across all four images was a rewarding challenge, as I aimed for authenticity rather than relying on postproduction manipulation.
